An in-curb sound reduction treatment engineered to reduce noise from small supply and exhaust fans, using in-curb acoustical baffles of high specific gravity to reduce airborne pressure pulses. Per Pate, ASTM E90-09 testing showed a sound rating of STC11, with up to 18 dB of reduction in specific frequency ranges, and the 1 in. thick acoustic barrier is fire and water resistant.
