Prefabricated roof curbs that create a watertight transition for fans, ventilators, piping, ductwork, plumbing penetrations, skylights and roof hatches, built of heavy-gauge galvanized steel or aluminum with an integral base flange, continuously welded mitered corners, internal reinforcement in larger sizes, and a pressure-treated wood nailer over 1-1/2 in. rigid fiberglass insulation. Styles include the straight-sided PC-2 for decks with lightweight fill or tapered insulation (standard heights 12 in. and 16 in. on its submittal), the canted PC-1 for single-ply or rubber/PVC roofs, the raised-cant PC-5 for insulated decks, the PC-2SF with an extended base flange and PC-2SL with a loose, field-adjusted flange for pitched roofs, the PC-2P for standard rooftop units, the heavy-duty PC-4IL with exterior insulation and liner, and damper-holding-plate versions.
