WeatherLock Mat is a self-sealing ice and water barrier with a polymeric asphalt surface carrying SureStep traction technology, a fiberglass mat reinforcement, polymer-modified asphalt adhesive and a split-sheet peel-away backer, engineered for asphalt shingle, wood shake and quarry slate roofs at eaves, valleys or full deck coverage. The data sheet gives a 66.7 ft. x 3 ft. roll covering 200 sq. ft. and ASTM E108/UL 790 Class A fire resistance, which the product page says applies under asphalt shingles and quarry slate.
