Owens Corning RhinoRoof High-Temp Self-Adhered Underlayment
RhinoRoof High-Temp is a self-adhered roof underlayment that Owens Corning markets for metal roofs, with a FiberGrip slip-resistant walking surface, a split-release liner and a 90-day UV exposure rating. The sell sheet pairs it with RhinoRoof U20, placing High-Temp at valleys, eaves, rakes and penetrations and U20 over the field, and states it was evaluated in modified thermal stability testing at temperatures up to 240°F. Each roll is 65 ft. by 36 in., weighs 48 lb and covers 1.95 squares. The listed test standards are ASTM D1970 (tear and tensile strength, nail sealability, thermal stability, low-temperature flexibility and adhesion to plywood), ASTM E96 permeability, ASTM D5261 weight per square and ASTM D5147 nominal thickness.
