FOAMULAR NGX THERMAPINK 25 is a closed-cell extruded polystyrene (XPS) rigid foam board that Owens Corning describes as designed for roofing applications, meeting ASTM C578 Type IV with a 25 psi minimum compressive strength and an R-value of 5.0 per inch at 75°F. The data sheet lists 48 in. x 96 in. square-edge boards in 1, 1.5, 2, 3 and 4 in. thicknesses, and a tapered version in 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 in. per foot slopes (panels A through G, 24 in. x 96 in.) for drainage under single-ply or other lightweight roofing systems. It lists UL Classification Certificate U-197, UL ER8811-01, FM Class 1 roof decks, UL 1256 roof deck constructions, ASTM E108 fire classified and ASTM E119 fire resistance rated assemblies, and UL and FM wind uplift rated assemblies. Owens Corning states a limited lifetime warranty that the insulation maintains 90% of its R-value, subject to the warranty's terms.
