The SpeedTite is a drop-in retrofit roof drain in OMG's OlyFlow line, made in 3-, 4-, 5- and 6-in. diameters with a one-piece seamless body of 11-gauge spun aluminum, a 17-in. flange with sump area, a 10-in. stem, a cast aluminum strainer dome and a patented mechanical seal that makes a watertight connection with the existing drain leader. A built-in Vortex Breaker is meant to smooth flow and reduce chugging, and OMG prints flow rates from PRI Construction Materials Technologies testing under the ASPE/IAPMO/ANSI Z1034-2015 method. Clamp-ring models suit all roof covers, and TPO- or PVC-coated flange models are hot-air welded to the membrane. The data sheet says the drains are certified by QAI Laboratories to conform to CSA-B79-08, meet IPC and UPC codes, and have a seal that exceeds the ANSI/SPRI RD-1 back-flow standard.
