Loc Seam is a vertical rib, flat profile standing seam metal roof panel that floats on concealed fastener clips to accommodate thermal expansion and contraction, and is mechanically seamed with either a 90 degree (Loc Seam 90) or 360 degree (Loc Seam 360) seam. The data sheet profile is dimensioned 16 in. wide with a 2 in. seam, in 24 gauge (0.0225 in.) 50 ksi steel, and the maker describes it as suited to buildings with hips and valleys. The data sheet lists ASTM E1646 and ASTM E1680 testing, FM 4471 Class 1 approval, UL 580 Class 90 approval, State of Florida Product Approval and Miami-Dade approval.
