Nucor CFR is a raised-seam standing seam metal roof panel, 24 in. wide by 3 in. nominal height, in 24 gauge 50 ksi Galvalume steel with SP and PVDF painted finishes, made in custom lengths of 6 ft. to 55 ft. for roof slopes down to 1/4:12. Concealed sliding clips with 1/2, 1-1/2 or 2-1/2 in. panel offsets let the roof float for thermal movement, the sidelap carries factory-applied mastic, and seams are hand-crimped (Roll Lock) or mechanically seamed (Vise Lock and Vise Lock 360); a translucent CFR panel is offered in 10 ft. 4 in., 11 ft. 4 in. and 12 ft. 4 in. lengths. The data sheet lists ASTM E1646 and ASTM E1680 testing, FM 4471 Class 1 approval, UL 580 Class 90 approval, State of Florida Product Approval and Miami-Dade approval, and the brochure adds ASTM E1592, ASTM E2140 and ASTM E108 testing. The brochure lists 25-year Galvalume and SP finish warranties, a 35-year PVDF finish warranty and an optional 20-year weathertightness warranty.
