7870 High-Solids Roofing Silicone

7870 is a single-component, moisture-cured, high-solids silicone roof coating (Hempel code 873JB) and the coating in Neogard's Silicone HS systems for smooth BUR and granulated cap sheet, concrete, metal, polyurethane foam and single-ply roofs, which the maker says can be warranted for up to 20 years and can handle ponding water. Its product data sheet lists 247 psi tensile strength (ASTM D412), 237 percent elongation (ASTM D2370), an SRI of 113 for the white, Class A flammability under ASTM E108, a VOC under 50 g/L and a 40-mil maximum per coat, and names Energy Star, a CRRC listing, a UL TGFU listing, Factory Mutual Class A and Miami-Dade NOA #18-0619.04. It comes in white (7870) and silicone gray (7871).
