Products / 7711 Bleed-Block Primer

7711 (Hempel 259JB) is a plasticizer-free, single-component, water-based acrylic primer applied over smooth asphalt roof surfaces to improve the adhesion of silicone roof coatings and to block chemicals bleeding from the asphalt that would yellow the silicone. Its product data sheet lists 50 percent volume solids, VOC under 50 g/L and an application rate of 100 to 150 square feet per gallon by roller or spray. It comes in tan in 5- and 55-gallon containers and is listed in Neogard's silicone roof coating systems.
