PERMAKOTE (product #7525) is a water-based, matte, bright white elastomeric acrylic roof coating with ceramic fillers, made for well-draining sloped roofs over metal, tile, built-up, modified bitumen, asphalt and other prepared substrates. The data sheet calls for two coats to at least 16 mils total dry film thickness (20 mils over primer), at 100-150 sq ft per gallon per coat, in 1, 5 and 55 gallon sizes. It is offered in white, deep and clear tint bases; a PERMAKOTE METAL version (#7525M) for metal roofs is sold under the same data sheet. The data sheet reports a Class A result under ASTM E84-01 (NFPA 101). It carries a 15-year limited material warranty covering product only, available when applied to the maker's specifications and registered with the manufacturer.
