SL Base is a 100% silicone surface-leveling coating used as a base layer under a silicone top coat on rough substrates such as gravel-surfaced or alligatored built-up roofs, granulated modified bitumen and concrete. The product page lists a low-VOC (under 50 g/L), 90 percent solids by volume formulation applied by airless spray or roller, curing in 4 to 48 hours. It is sold in 5-gallon pails with a 24-month shelf life.
