SA Base Sheet is a self-adhered, fiberglass-reinforced modified bitumen base sheet made with Adeso dual-compound technology, an SBS modified asphalt compound over a pressure-sensitive adhesive compound under a split release liner, with a polyolefin film top surface printed with lay lines. SA Base Sheet FR adds fire-retardant additives and has its own data sheet. The product data sheet states it meets ASTM D6163 Type 1 Grade S and ASTM D1970, and lists a 2.0 mm (80 mil) sheet in 1 by 20-meter rolls covering 200 square feet.
