Nail Base is a fiberglass-reinforced SBS modified bitumen base sheet finished with a polyolefin film printed with lay lines, listed on the Mule-Hide site under both its self-adhered and torch modified bitumen categories. The product data sheet states it meets ASTM D6163 Type 1 Grade S and lists a 2.0 mm (80 mil) sheet in 1 by 20-meter rolls covering 200 square feet, about 106 lb per roll.
