APP Torch Base Premier is a fiberglass-mat reinforced APP modified bitumen base sheet with poly film on both surfaces, applied mechanically fastened or heat-welded (torched) as a base or interply sheet in new roofing, recover and flashing details, and usable as a base sheet for self-adhered modified bitumen systems. It is not intended for direct installation over a combustible substrate. The product data sheet (PDS 09-1465) states it meets ASTM D6509 Type 1 and lists a 2.0 mm (80 mil) sheet in 1 by 20-meter rolls covering 200 square feet.
