A water-based, solvent-free asphalt clay emulsion roof coating for smooth- surfaced asphalt built-up roofs and modified bitumen membranes, also used as a base coat under aluminum or elastomeric reflective coatings and on metal, masonry, parapets, curbs and base flashings. It has a heavy semi-paste consistency, does not flow in thick coats and is applied by brush, roller or sprayer at about 3 to 4 gallons per 100 square feet. It comes in 5-gallon pails, 55-gallon drums and 275-gallon totes.
