The Base Strut series are rooftop pipe stands that carry a length of strut on a polycarbonate base so gas pipe, electrical conduit, cable tray, solar piping and other mechanical piping can be fastened with standard strut clamps; models run from 8 to 48 inch strut lengths at several heights (8-Base Strut-2 through 48-Base Strut-5). The 16-Base Strut-12 carries a 16 inch length of hot-dip galvanized steel strut on a 16 x 18 inch deck, adjusts from 4-3/4 to 13-1/4 inches of clearance, weighs 8.53 lbs, and its spec sheet gives a maximum load of 578 lbs (3.0 psi) with spacing not to exceed 10 foot centers depending on the load.
