Milcor's ship stair roof hatches are single-leaf personnel hatches sized for ship-stair access, offered as models M-2, RB-2, RC-2 and RD-2. The product page gives the same four constructions as its ladder hatches: galvanized steel cover and curb (M and RB), aluminum cover on a galvanized curb (RC) or aluminum throughout (RD), with 1 in. rigid styrofoam or fiberglass insulation, a torsion-spring cover opening to 90 degrees, a 12 in. curb with integral counterflashing, an EPDM gasket and a slam latch. Load capacity is 70 psf for the M model and 40 psf for the RB, RC and RD models.
