A self-adhering, 45-mil, film-surfaced, high-temperature ice-and-water barrier underlayment composed of a white, non-slip, cross-laminated polyethylene film laminated to a rubberized asphalt adhesive rated to 250 degrees F, for whole-roof protection under shingle, tile, shake or metal roofing. When installed in an approved MFM assembly it is suitable for a Class A roofing system per UL listing R11672 and ASTM E108/ICC-ES AC188, and it is also listed for Wildland Urban Interface (W.U.I.) use. Aggressive adhesion and a non-slip surface suit it to secondary water resistance and vertical applications such as under panel systems and parapet walls, with a 90-day UV exposure limit.
