Peel & Seal is a 45 mil self-stick roll roofing for low-slope roofs, made of aluminum foil laminated to a cross-laminated polyethylene film over a thick layer of rubberized asphalt, and is designed to be left exposed. It installs direct to the deck at 55 F and above on slopes of at least 1/2 inch per foot, with 3-inch side laps and 6-inch end laps, and is also used for flashing, patching and gutter repair. It comes in aluminum, white, granite gray and almond, in 3, 4, 6, 9, 12, 18 and 36-inch widths by 33.5-foot rolls. The technical data sheet states it is tested to ASTM D1970, meets ICC-ES AC-75, holds Florida approvals FL 11842.2, 13025.1 and 13025.2, Miami-Dade approval and Texas Department of Insurance RC38, and has a UL Class A fire rating; the product page lists ICC-ES ESR-1654 and a UL Classified prepared roofing accessory listing.
