IB-3 StormStopper is a self-adhering, 50 mil, mineral-surfaced roofing underlayment of mesh bonded to rubberized asphalt and coated with black stone granules, distinguished from IB-3 IceBuster by a non-removable selvedge edge that seals the overlaps. It installs at eaves, valleys, vents, skylights and chimneys under shingles, tile and other roofing, above 40 F and on slopes of 2 inches per foot or more, self-seals around common fasteners and may be left exposed for up to 30 days. It ships in 36-inch by 65-foot rolls.
