CFR
CFR is an insulated standing seam metal roof panel with a foamed-in-place PIR or PUR foam core between steel exterior and interior faces, joined by a concealed-clip, mechanically seamed single-lock standing seam 2 inches high with a single tongue-and-groove interlock on the interior side. It comes in 36- and 42-inch coverage widths, thicknesses of 2, 2 1/2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 inches and lengths from 9 ft 6 in to 53 ft, for roof slopes as low as 1/2:12. Exterior faces are G-90 galvanized or AZ-50 aluminum-zinc coated steel in 24 and 22 gauge, or AZ-55 with a clear acrylic coating in 24 gauge, and panels ship with factory-cut notching, swaged ends and factory-installed backer plates at the endlaps. The maker lists R-values from 17.5 (2 inch) to 52.5 (6 inch) for the 42-inch panel, based on ASTM C518, ASTM C1363 and thermal modeling.
