5-V Crimp is an exposed-fastener steel roof panel with 24 inch coverage and a 1/2 inch rib height, in 26 and 24 gauge, in lengths from 24 inches to 35 feet. It is made from Grade 50/E or Grade 80/D steel per ASTM A792 and is offered in Galvalume and Ceram-A-Star 1050 stock colours, with Kynar by special order. The maker lists a 3:12 minimum recommended slope and performance testing to UL 580-94 and UL 1897-98 in accordance with the Florida Building Code 2004. The spec sheet states it is to be used over solid substrates only, recommended over 5/8 inch plywood decking with a 30-pound felt moisture barrier.
