Metacrylics High Solids Silicone is a single-component, moisture-curing silicone elastomer used as a top or base coat in roof restorations and for sealing seams, penetrations, drains and flashings over BUR, modified bitumen, metal, TPO, EPDM, PVC, foam, tar and gravel and concrete, in spray and roll grades; its data sheet says ponding water does not affect it and that asphalt and coal tar roofs need a primer. The technical data sheet lists 98 percent solids by volume and weight, 200 percent elongation and 300 psi tensile strength (ASTM D-412), VOC of 48 g/L, 88 percent reflectivity, 91 percent emissivity and an SRI of 110. It gives standard colours as white, light grey and tan in one place and white and custom colours in another.
