Acrylic Gray Base is a gray water-based acrylic elastomeric base coat formulated to saturate polyester fabric in reinforced roof and walking-surface systems, applied with Metacrylics primer and top coats over asphalt roofs, cap sheet, metal, concrete, wood, foam, single-ply and stucco, and it must be protected from UV by an acrylic white or colour coat. Its technical data sheet lists a VOC of 11.73 g/L, 67.9 percent solids by weight, wind uplift of 105 PSF and fire resistance of Class A ASTM E-108 UL Standard 790.
