Acrylic Clear Base is a transparent, water-based, self-priming acrylic elastomeric base coat that saturates Metacrylics polyester fabric in reinforced roof systems and can serve as a universal primer over existing surfaces; it must be protected from UV by a Metacrylics acrylic top coat. Its technical data sheet lists wind uplift of 105 PSF and fire resistance of Class A ASTM E-108 UL Standard 790, with tensile and elongation figures given for the coating with fabric.
