McElroy Metal's symmetrical mechanically seamed standing seam roof panel with a 1 3/8-inch seam, the shorter-leg companion to the 238T. Offered in 12, 16 and 18-inch widths in plank-and-pencil, plank, striated, minor-rib and flat profiles, in standard 24 gauge Galvalume (ASTM A792, 50 ksi) finished in Kynar 500 PVDF or acrylic-coated Galvalume, with .040 aluminum also tested. It installs over solid deck at a minimum slope of 1:12, in factory lengths up to 80 feet. McElroy lists UL 263, UL 580 Class 90, UL 2218 Class 4 and ASTM E1592 for the panel; its UL 790 bulletin lists the 138T Roof Panel at Class A in specified deck and barrier-board assemblies, including recover over existing shingles.
