MCA's Oriental-Japanese tile is an interlocking clay tile made in the Japanese tradition, offered in grayish smoked and glazed colors including the smoked, through-body C09 Japanese Black ("Ibushi"), and suited to temple and teahouse designs with ornaments or to contemporary western designs without them. MCA prints a 12 x 12 in. tile with a 9-1/2 x 10-1/2 in. exposure, 144 pieces and 864 lbs. per square.
