SupercapSBS is MBTechnology's fiberglass-reinforced, granule-surfaced SBS modified cap sheet, used over LayflatSBS or LayfastSBS base plies, as mineral surfaced roll roofing, and as a tile underlayment. It is applied with hot asphalt or cold adhesive, and the product page also lists heat weld application. The technical brochure lists the SC85GWH and SC100GWH products at 85 and 100 lb rolls covering one square with a 3.63 inch selvage, and the SC85GWH data sheet tabulates it against ASTM D3909 and ASTM D226 Type 2 and gives a Solar Reflective Index of 25 for white and 21 for buff. SC85GWH is offered in 15 shingle blends.
