MB Roofing Adhesive, issued on its technical data sheet as IAC 7MBT Roofing Adhesive, is a single-component, asbestos-free, cold-applied asphaltic adhesive for single- and multi-ply SBS and select APP modified bitumen membranes, used with MBTechnology's cold process systems. It is applied by airless spray or squeegee at 1.5 to 2 gallons per square, has 86% solids by weight and a VOC value under 250 g/L, and the data sheet states lap shear testing shows it meets or exceeds the performance attributes of ASTM D3019. It is not for membranes with a burn-off film, and comes in 5 gallon pails, 55 gallon drums and 275 and 350 gallon totes.
