CO-24 B is MBTechnology's bleed-resistant acrylic elastomeric base coat, single-component and water-based, formulated to block asphaltic bleed-through that can discolor silicone or acrylic top coats. The technical data sheet lists it for use over metal, primed single-ply and asphaltic surfaces such as asphalt emulsions, applied by spray, brush or roller at 1.0 gallon per 100 square feet (16 wet mils), with a tensile strength of 310 psi and elongation of 315% by ASTM D2370. It comes in white, gray and tan in 5 gallon pails and 55 gallon drums.
