SuperLok is MBCI's mechanically field-seamed, vertical-leg standing seam roof system with a 2-inch slim rib, in 12-inch and 16-inch coverage widths on a 1/2:12 minimum slope; the maker states it can be installed directly over purlins or bar joists without a solid substructure. It is 24 gauge standard (26 and 22 optional), striated, in Galvalume Plus, Signature 200, Signature 300 or Signature 300 Metallic, with low, high and utility clips. Its data sheet lists UL 2218 Class 4 impact resistance, FM 4471, UL 580 Class 90 uplift under multiple construction numbers, Miami-Dade NOA 23-1012.06 (24 gauge) and NOA 24-0429.04 (22 gauge), and Florida approvals, and cross-references a separate Class A fire rating data sheet for UL 790.
