UL 2218 Class 4PBU is MBCI's exposed-fastener panel for roof and wall applications, installable directly over purlins or joists, recommended for roof slopes of 1:12 or greater. Its data sheet gives a 36-inch coverage width, 6-inch rib spacing, and 3/4-inch rib height, in 26-gauge standard steel (22, 24, or 29-gauge optional) with Galvalume Plus, Signature 200, or Signature 300 finishes. The data sheet also lists Florida product approval (FL# 42382.13) and Texas Department of Insurance windstorm approval for the 14 first-tier coastal counties.
