The Craftsman Series is MBCI's snap-on batten roof system, made in High Batten and Small Batten versions, in which pan and batten are manufactured separately so hips, valleys and slope changes can be detailed without extra flashings, with a concealed clip locking the batten while allowing thermal movement. It is a water-shedding system for roofs and mansards over a waterproofed solid substructure at a 3:12 minimum slope, in 12 and 16-1/2 inch coverage, 24 gauge standard (26 and 22 optional), smooth or embossed, in Galvalume Plus, Signature 200, Signature 300 or Signature 300 Metallic. Its data sheet lists UL 2218 Class 4 impact resistance, UL 580 construction numbers for both versions, UL 1897, Florida and Texas Department of Insurance listings, and cross-references a separate Class A fire rating data sheet for UL 790.
