Maze's ring shank asphalt and fiberglass shingle nails are 0.120 in. (11 ga) low-carbon steel diamond-point nails with a 0.375 in. head and STORMGUARD double hot-dipped zinc coating, made for new construction and re-roofing, with the ring shank described as giving extra holding power in high wind and hurricane areas. Maze states they are manufactured to meet ASTM A-153 for hot-dip zinc coating, that they should penetrate 3/4 in. into deck lumber or fully through plywood, and that its nails are made in the USA. The series is offered in several lengths.
