Custom-size thermoformed dome (bubble) skylights made in single or double dome, glazed with acrylic, impact modified acrylic or polycarbonate with a co-extruded UV cap, in a choice of colors. Built as a self-flashing unit (aluminum curb frame 4.5 in. high with a 3 in. nailing flange) or a curb-mount unit for a site-built curb, both with a .078 in. 6063 T-5 aluminum frame, a .062 in. extruded aluminum retainer with stainless steel fasteners, an integral condensation gutter with a weep hole at each corner, and mitered, heliarc-welded corners. Double dome units use at least 3/16 in. clear acrylic outer domes and 1/8 in. inner lenses. Fall protection and heat blocker screens are offered as options; the maker states self-flashing units suit roofs of 3/12 pitch or steeper.
