RidgeFlex is Malarkey's low-profile hip and ridge shingle, a perforated strip that separates into caps, made on a non-woven fiberglass mat impregnated and coated with NEX polymer-modified asphalt, with 3M Scotchgard Protector and smog-reducing granules. It comes as 10 in. RidgeFlex (SKU 225, 41 ft. 3 in. per bundle) and 12 in. RidgeFlex for wider ridge vents (SKU 227, 30 ft. 11 in. per bundle), each 13 1/4 in. long at a 5 5/8 in. exposure. Both data sheets list ASTM D7158 Class H, ASTM D3161 Class F, ASTM E108 Class A and UL 2218 Class 4. Installed with algae-resistant shingles it is covered by Malarkey's Limited Lifetime Scotchgard Protector warranty; installed separately it carries a 10-year product warranty against manufacturing defects.
