501 Paragon MOD Base is Malarkey's SBS polymer-modified fiberglass base sheet for hot asphalt, cold process and torch-applied built-up and modified roof systems, used as the first ply or as interplies over combustible and non-combustible decks. It is a fiberglass mat coated on both sides with SBS-modified asphalt and a mineral release surface. The data sheet gives a 39-3/8 in. by 99 ft. roll (3 squares), 55 mils nominal and 92 lbs. per roll, lists ASTM D4601 Type II, a Class A fire rating to ASTM E108 and code approval CCRR-0333, and names warranty packages of 5, 10, 15 and 20 years, limited and unlimited.
