410 OmniSeal Base is Malarkey's mechanically fastened SBS polymer-modified fiberglass base sheet, the first ply of its self-adhering OmniSeal low-slope system over nailable decks. It is a non-woven fiberglass mat coated with SBS-modified asphalt, sanded underneath and primed on top so the self-adhering ply or cap sheet bonds to it, and the capped nails seal into the modified asphalt. The data sheet gives a 39-3/8 in. by 66 ft. roll (2 squares), 50 mils nominal and 80 lbs. per roll, and says it must not be left exposed overnight. It lists ASTM D4601 Type II and a Class B and C fire rating to ASTM E108, and refers warranty terms to Malarkey.
