Highlander Cool (SKU 245) is the solar-reflective version of Malarkey's Highlander laminated architectural shingle, made with NEX polymer-modified asphalt and 3M Cool Roofing Granules that raise the solar reflectance of darker colors; Malarkey states its colors are listed with the Cool Roof Rating Council and can be used to comply with California Title 24, Part 6 cool roof requirements. The data sheet lists ASTM D7158 Class H, ASTM D3161 Class F, ASTM E108 Class A and UL 2218 Class 3, with a Limited Lifetime Warranty and a 110 mph limited wind warranty that can be combined with other Malarkey products for a 130 mph enhanced wind warranty.
