EZ-Ridge is Malarkey's high-profile hip and ridge shingle made on a non-woven fiberglass mat coated with NEX polymer-modified asphalt, with 3M Scotchgard Protector algae resistance and 3M smog-reducing granules, blended to match Malarkey field shingles. It comes 8 in. wide (SKU 222) or 10 in. wide as EZ-Ridge XT (SKU 224), both 11 1/2 in. long at an 8 1/4 in. exposure, 30 shingles and 20 ft. of linear coverage per box. Both data sheets list ASTM D3161 Class F, ASTM E108 Class A and UL 2218 Class 4. Installed with algae-resistant shingles it is covered by Malarkey's Limited Lifetime Scotchgard Protector warranty against blue-green algae; installed separately it carries a 10-year product warranty against manufacturing defects.
