UL 2218 Class 4Malarkey's The Alaskan (SKU 230) is a 3-tab, metric-based asphalt shingle fortified with NEX polymer modified asphalt and featuring Scotchgard Shingle Protector from 3M against algae discoloration. Malarkey's data sheet describes it as a mineral-surfaced, self-sealing three-tab shingle on fiberglass reinforcement, 13-1/4 in by 39-3/8 in with a 5-5/8 in exposure, 66 shingles (3 bundles) per square.
