MS 1 and MS 2 are pre-painted steel profiles with a triangular pinch strip and no visible screws, made for vertical installation on roofs and walls; MS 1 has a 19.25 in. flat surface and MS 2 adds two longitudinal grooves. Panels are 1 1/16 in. deep, run 3 to 60 ft. long, and are made from G90 (Z275) galvanized steel to ASTM A653, in 24 and 26 gauge for roofing. The data sheet sets a 5 degree (1.05/12) minimum roof slope, recommends sealant in the clips below 3:12, and calls for 5/8 in. plywood covered with a high-temperature membrane. It lists CAN/ULC-S135 non-combustibility, ASTM E84 Class A, ASTM E2768 testing for WUI listing, ASTM D5206 sustained pressure of 60 psf at 16 and 24 in. centers, ASTM E330 and ASTM E283. The 40-year warranty covers the paint finish against fading and chalking, with stated exclusions.
