MS 1 Modular is a pre-painted steel profile with a pinch strip and no visible screws, offered in three covered widths (MS 1 at 19.25 in., MS 1.1 at 15.6 in. and MS 1.2 at 11.35 in.) for vertical installation on roofs and walls. Panels are 1 1/16 in. deep, run 3 to 60 ft. long, and are made from G90 (Z275) galvanized steel to ASTM A653, in 26 gauge for roofing. The data sheet sets a 5 degree (1.05/12) minimum roof slope, recommends sealant in the clips below 3:12, and calls for 5/8 in. plywood covered with a high-temperature membrane. The product page lists CAN/ULC-S135, ASTM E84 Class A, ASTM D5206, ASTM E283 and WUI listing. The 40-year warranty covers the paint finish against fading and chalking, with stated exclusions.
