The Luma Solar Shingle (model LRSS28-100A) is a 100-watt monocrystalline solar shingle framed in 0.063 in extruded aluminum that installs among Luma's non-solar metal shingles as one roof system, needing a single deck penetration for the wire harness. The 2025 flyer prints 28 half-cells, 22.1% efficiency, an installed exposed area of 54 in x 16.5 in (overall 56 in x 17.4375 in x 1.625 in), a weight of 7.1 kg, a 2400 Pa static wind load and 5400 Pa static snow load, and additional ratings of UL 790 Class C fire resistance, UL 2218 Class 1 roof impact, 115 lb per square foot wind resistance under UL 1897 and a 200 lb point load under UL 7103, with UL 7103, UL 61730-1 and UL 61730-2 certifications and UL and CEC listings. The flyer states a 5-year limited product warranty and a 25-year limited power warranty at 80%, while the Solar Roof web page lists the shingle warranty as limited lifetime beside the 25-year power warranty; the About page ties the limited lifetime warranty to the underlying metal shingle.
