A clay shingle tile with a cratered surface, black sanded finish and rough bottom edge, patterned on roof tiles of the Normandy region of France; Ludowici says it typically ships in a Santiago Rose glaze accented with black sand weathering, customizable per project. The product page prints a dimpled and hand-sanded base texture, 1600 lbs per square, 317 pieces per square, an overall size of 7 by 15 by 1/2 inches, an exposure of 7 by 6-1/2 inches and a 5:12 recommended minimum slope. The data sheet prints water absorption less than 2 percent.
