A clay barrel tile system of 18-3/8-inch tapered pans and tapered covers with a smooth finish. The product page prints 1200 lbs and 170 pieces per square, an overall size of 8-1/4 by 18-3/8 inches, an exposure of 11 inches center to center by 15-3/8 inches, a 4-3/8-inch nominal installed barrel height and a 5:12 recommended minimum slope. It is offered in all standard and custom Ludowici colors, mists and blends. The data sheet lists ASTM C1167 Grade 1 with water absorption less than 2 percent. IAPMO UES ER-452 (revised 05/29/2026) lists it as a Class A roof covering over a nominal 0.5-inch plywood deck only when installed with Polyglass Polyanchor XFR, Polystick XFR, Polystick TU P or Polystick MTS Plus underlayment.
