A clay shingle tile with long irregular lengths and a grooved texture that gives the look of hand-split wood shake on Early American and Colonial buildings; Ludowici points to its Rustic Colonial tile for a deeper split-shake texture. The product page prints a grooved base texture, 1800 lbs per square, 310 pieces per square, an overall size of 7-3/8 by 14-5/8 by 5/8 inches, an exposure of 7-3/8 by 6-5/16 inches and a 5:12 recommended minimum slope. The data sheet prints water absorption less than 2 percent.
