Lucas #8000 is a single-part, high-solids, moisture-curing 100% silicone roof coating made from inorganic silicone resins, reinforcing fillers, reflective pigments and silane adhesion promoters. The data sheet lists it for use over spray polyurethane foam, EPDM, aged PVC, aged acrylic coatings, concrete, asphalt BUR, granulated modified bitumen and metal roofs, with Lucas #1015 as a bleed-blocking primer over asphalt roofs and Lucas #8015 primer over TPO; it is not recommended over aluminum-coated roofs. Typical properties printed are 97% solids by weight, 95% solids by volume, 250% elongation, initial reflectance 0.84, aged reflectance 0.71, emissivity 0.91 and SRI 106, at a rate of 1.5 gallons per 100 sq. ft. It is sold in 1, 5 and 55 gallon containers in white, gray, tan and custom colors, and the data sheet references ASTM D6694. The data sheet carries the UL mark for cements and coatings for roof systems as to external fire exposure. The printed product warranty is one year from the date of purchase.
