Lucas #771 is a premium trowel-applied asphalt flashing cement of higher-softening-point asphalt, petroleum solvents and reinforcing fibers, used to install, repair or rebuild roof flashings at parapet walls, gravel stops, stacks, vents and monitors, and with fiberglass, polyester fabric or roll roofing for repairs. Printed properties include ASTM D4586 Type I, Class I, 77% solids by weight and 52% asphalt for the summer grade; it comes in summer and winter grades in 1, 3 and 5 gallon containers, black. The maker also publishes a data sheet for #774 Asphalt Flashing Cement Utility Grade (ASTM D4586 Type I, Class I; summer, mid-season and winter grades). Both data sheets state Florida Building Code approval. The printed product warranty is one year from the date of purchase.
